Visitors to The Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island immigration Museum undergo airport style security screening prior to boarding the ferry. Please give yourself time for the wait. A second security checkpoint is required for those entering the Statue of Liberty Monument.

There are no lockers at either departure points. Lockers are located on Liberty Island for those entering the Monument however large bags are not permitted.

All weapons are prohibited.

Food and drink are not allowed inside the Monument.

Strollers, backpacks, and large umbrellas are not allowed in the Monument.

All visitors can be searched.
